BuyNext Shopify Plugin

1. Service Description

Our app is a Shopify plugin that displays a widget on the “Thank You” page of our customers’ Shopify stores.
This widget shows relevant brands and products from partner webshops. Visitors can click on these products and are redirected to the partner websites.

Plugin Users: Shopify store owners (our customers).

 

2. Data Collected

We do not collect personal data from end customers who view the widget.

The following data from our customers is collected:

• Shop name
• Shop URL
• Shop description
• Purchase events (hashed: purchase ID, timestamp)
• Linked partner pages
• Shopify API tokens (to interact with the Shopify API)

Purchase event data is hashed, so no profiles of buyers are created. Only the fact that a shop made a successful sale is stored.

Technical data (IP address, device type, operating system, location) is not collected.

Cookies / Tracking:

• On the Shopify App page, we use Google Analytics to track page views.
• No personal profiles are created.

 

3. Purpose of Data Use

The collected data (shop name, URL, description) is used to:

• Be displayed within the partner network
• Be shown on our website https://buynext.app to attract new customers

Personalized advertising is not conducted.

 

4. Data Sharing

The data is displayed within the partner network and on our website to help acquire new customers.

International transfer:

• The data is displayed on https://buynext.app and may be accessible internationally.

 

5. Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored as long as the customer uses the plugin or until a deletion request is made.
• The database is encrypted to ensure security and data protection.

 

6. User Rights

Our customers (store owners) have the right to:

• Access their stored data
• Delete their data at any time

7. Cookies / Tracking

• Google Analytics is used only on the Shopify App page to measure page views.
• Consent management (cookie banner) is not required, as no personal data from end customers is collected.
